Spanish Sardines Pasta

Served best at house dinner dates. This pinoy style Spanish Sardine Pasta is a healthy option dish, perfect for fulfilling your loved one’s appetite.

Ingredients: (serves 4-5)

500g Fettuccini

12 oz. Spanish Sardines

1 cup chopped dried tomatoes

1 cup chopped olives

1/2 cup virgin olive oil

1 tbsp Crushed red pepper

3 tbsp chopped flat leaf parsley

Salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Tip: to avoid noodle stick up, pout 1/4 cup of olive oil after draining, then mix well.

2. Mix the pasta and the other ingredients in a mixing bowl (beside the salt and pepper).

3. On a hot pot, place the contents of the bowl, then add salt and pepper to taste, mix well for a few minutes.

4. Ready to serve! Enjoy!

Tip: You may put more or fewer pieces of sardines depending on your preference, you may also choose to use non-spicy sardines or not use red pepper flakes to avoid too much of the hot flavor.
